A park in a quiet residential area has been turned into the scene of an unprecedented sexual crime.
On April 4, a self-employed man, 56 from Suginami Ward, Tokyo, was re-arrested by police on suspicion of destruction of property for disabling the water tap in Roka Park in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo.
At around 2:20am on April 1, the suspect arrived by bicycle at a park close to his home. He looked around with his binoculars, checked that no one else was there, and then stripped naked on the spot. The man then straddled the water tap, bent over and pressed his anus against it while inserting the faucet up his butt. He twisted the tap handle and released water into his anus. He took photos and videos of the whole process with his smartphone and went on his way home.
At around 3am, the man was cycling towards his home with his lower body exposed. A police officer on patrol passed by and questioned him. When the officer checked the images stored on the man’s smartphone, he found several photos and videos of the man in full nudity, inserting the water tap up his anus.
The man was then taken to Seijo Police Station and arrested the same day on suspicion of public indecency.
The purpose of taking selfies wasn’t to post them on social media, but to look back on them carefully and enjoy them alone later. The man first plunged the tap into his anus and released the water, thereby gaining physical pleasure. The suspect said that when he returned home, he watched and recalled the play over and over again on the images to further satisfy his desires.
The park’s management office was contacted by the police and banned the use of the water supply on the day of the incident on the 1st. On April 5, the tap was replaced with a new one.
