A 50-year-old unemployed Brazilian National living in Fuji City, was arrested on suspicion of assault. According to police, around 1:00 a.m. on the 14th, he allegedly struck the face of a 42-year-old foreign woman he lives with using a plastic wrap box.
The woman had what appeared to be a scratch on her face and is believed to have suffered only minor injuries.
According to the police investigation, the man has admitted to the charges. Police are investigating the relationship between the two and the circumstances that led to the incident.
