Actor Hiroya Shimizu (26) was arrested for violating the Narcotics Control Act and is currently being questioned at police headquarters.
According to investigations, the police had searched Shimizu’s home in Tokyo, and as a result, took him into custody.
Shimizu gained attention in the film “The World of Nanako” and also appeared in movies such as “Chihayafuru,” and “Tokyo Revengers,” and is among the current popular young actors.
