Steven Buerasco (32), an unemployed Filipino National living in Kobe City, was arrested for operating an unlicensed taxi service – commonly referred to as shirotaku in Japan.
According to police, in April, when the luxury cruise ship Queen Elizabeth docked at Osaka Port, the Filipino man transported passengers in his private vehicle without the proper license. He is suspected of scouting for passengers online, and in this case, was told he would be paid 70,000 yen.
