Hana Yaghoubi, aka Hana Saito, an Iranian National, was arrested for deceiving a man she met on a dating app and fraudulently obtaining cash by saying things like, “I can’t pay my tuition,” obtaining 2.91 million yen in cash in the process.
Although Yaghoubi is unemployed, she pretended to be a university student and reportedly said things like, “I want to be with you.”
According to reports, she denies the charges, but police believe she may have even frauded the same man out of 17 million yen.
