Vonpachan Kamsing (31), a Lao National, was arrested for stealing copper cables from a solar power facility in Namie Town.
The man is unemployed and has no address, yet was caught for cutting and stealing 30 copper cables worth approximately 3.3million yen. According to investigations, the amount stolen was close to 2 tons, and is believed that others were also involved in the incident.
