Six Peruvian Nationals were arrested in Shizuoka, Japan, for falsifying marriage documents to help relatives obtain long-term residency.
Among the Peruvians, a 43-year-old man is suspected of orchestrating the scheme, including preparing documents and possibly receiving payment.
Fake marriage registrations were submitted to local offices, and false immigration applications were filed.
