Ivan Garcia Martinez (20), a U.S. Marine Lance Corporal, was arrested for a hit-and-run incident in Okinawa, involving a car carrying a family of five and fled the scene. Two elementary students were injured.
Martinez fled the scene, but about one hour later, the police found him nearby and arrested him on the spot.
Martinez partially denied the claims and about twice the legal limit of alcohol was detected upon search.
