A 26-year-old Vietnamese National living in Kobe City was arrested for violating the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act – overstaying his visa.
The charge is that he entered Japan in September 28 on a student visa, and after his period of stay had expired, had remained in Japan without taking procedures such as renewing his status.
