Late one night in May this year, a man was found lying on his back on the ground of an apartment building in Fukuoka City, with blood on his clothes.
The man, in his 40s, is believed to have entered the seven-story apartment building without permission, claimed to the rooftop and fell in, and was booked on October 11 on suspicion of building trespass.
According to investigators, the man is suspected to have climbed down a rope tied to a ladder on the roof with the aim of looking into a woman’s room, during which he is thought to have fallen.
The man was then taken to hospital. He recovered and was discharged from hospital, and on October 11 the police sent him to the police station on suspicion of breaking into a building.
The man admitted the charges to the police and said that he fell because he had run out of energy. The man also said that he wanted to see some women’s room.
