On August 27, Ken Takeo, a 36-year-old unemployed man was caught red-handed in a love hotel in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, for entering a room to eat and drink despite having no ability to pay for the room.
At around 2:30 pm on August 27, an employee at a love hotel in the city reported to the police that a man who entered the room didn’t have enough money on him to pay for the room, food and drink.
Police rushed to the scene and spoke to the man, who admitted to entering the room and eating and drinking, despite having only about 20 yen in his possession and no intention or ability to pay for the room fee, food and drink.
According to the police, the suspect ordered beer, chu-hai and fried chicken in his room. After eating, he attempted to escape through the window, but it’s believed that he was unable to get out due to the grids on the window.
The suspect told a hotel staff that he didn’t have any money, and was reported to the police.
