On July 26, Saitama Prefectural Board of Education dismissed Miki Oyabu, a 23-year-old female teacher at Wako Minami Special Support School for taking voyeuristic photographs of a junior high school girl’s skirt at a shopping mall. She admitted that she was asked by her boyfriend.
According to the board of education, on June 22, she took a spy photo of the inside of the skirt of an unacquainted junior high school girl at a shopping center, using a small camera disguised as a smartphone. Since around April, her boyfriend asked her to do so, saying a woman is less likely to be suspicious, and repeated the act multiple times, even stating that she enjoyed the thrill.
The parent of the girl who was nearby reported the incident to police, and she was arrested in the act for violating the Law on Punishment of Filming of Sexual Desire.
