A 22-year-old man from Osaka was arrested in Sapporo impersonating a bank staff, and defrauding an 80-year-old woman.
According to police, the man called the woman’s home, saying things like “we will refund your insurance premiums,” “you need to replace your cash card,” and “we’re sending a staff member now.”
