On June 7, the Chiba District Public Prosecutors’ Office dropped charges against a 53-year-old male teacher at an elementary school in Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture, who was arrested on suspicion of non-consensual indecency for exposing his genitals and putting it on a woman in her 20s’ whom he had never met before at Tokyo Disneyland. The reasons are not clear.
The teacher was arrested by Chiba police in May while leading a school trip to Tokyo Disneyland.
According to the police, the woman chased and subdued the teacher as he tried to flee the scene, and a Tokyo Disneyland employee reported that the teacher had placed his genitals against the woman.
