It has emerged that two Vietnamese women were arrested and prosecuted in October at Kansai Airport for attempting to smuggle over 30 kilograms of cannabis in Japan from Thailand inside suitcases. This seizure represents the largest quantity of cannabis confiscated at Kansai Airport since its opening.
