On July 22, the Tokyo Airport Police had arrested a Vietnamese National, Tran Nhat Thai, 33, a technical intern, from Kawasaki City, on suspicion of theft, for stealing the tip of golf clubs during baggage sorting work at Haneda Airport, Tokyo.
He is admitted to the charges saying he has stolen about 13 pieces.
He is suspected of stealing two golf club tips with a total market value of approximately 100,000 yen, entrusted to him by a passenger couple in their 50’s at the baggage sorting area on the first floor of the Haneda Airport terminal between 9pm to 10:30pm on July 8.
